Farwell unofficial election results received

In a Farwell ISD election held Saturday, unofficial totals show Jay Be Barrett, Lane McFarland, and Jose Jaime elected to three positions on the school board.

Jay Be Barrett received 69 votes, Lane McFarland received 68 votes, Jose Jaime received 45 votes, Isaac Nicolas received 33 votes, Shane Yeary received 13 votes, and Bill Baca received 12 votes.

In the Bovina ISD election, unofficial totals show Justin Brozek and Chris Antillon elected to two positions on the board.

Justin Brozek received 140 votes, Chris Antillon received 107 votes, George Villarreal received 78 votes, and Jerry Rocha received 56 votes.

Representatives from both districts said the results would be unofficial until the canvass is finished this week. The board has three days after the election to complete the canvass.
