High school testing

The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers tests will be administered to Dora students in grades 7-12 today through Thursday. The PARCC tests are computer based, math and English language arts/literacy assessments that are designed to show if students are on track in their learning. The results can help teachers customize learning for the needs of their students.

Future Farmers of America events

• Today — Ag mech practice, 4-7 p.m.

• Wednesday — Livestock practice, 4-5 p.m.

• Friday — Team practices: Land and home site, 9 a.m. to noon; pasture, 1-5 p.m.; ag mech 5-8:30 p.m.

• Saturday — Judging contest at Tucumcari; teams leave Dora at 6 a.m.

• Sunday — Dairy practice, 1-5 p.m.

Sports

• Thursday — Little Dribblers Basketball tourney at Dora, through Saturday

• Friday — Junior varsity/varsity at Logan for round robin baseball tournament, 2 p.m.

• Saturday — Varsity track meet at Tucumcari, 8 a.m.
