• Records: Angelo State 20-1 (8-0 LSC), ENMU 7-14 (0-8)
• Last meeting: ASU pounded the Greyhounds 112-81 on Jan. 17 at San Angelo, Texas.
• Last time out: The Rams held off West Texas A&M 77-68 at home while the Hounds lost at Texas A&M-Kingsville 83-52 in games on Wednesday.
• Of note: Despite the earlier setback, ENMU has won three of the last five in the series. … Angelo State, ranked No. 7 in NCAA Division II, is on a program-record 15 game winning streak. ASU reached the 20-win milestone for the fifth time on Wednesday and first since 2008-09. … The Rams average 90 ppg and allow 63.3. They shoot 54 percent from the field while limiting their opponents to 38 percent, and have 410 assists — nearly double the opposition — to just 258 turnovers. … Four ASU players average in double figures, led by 6-foot-5 senior G Demario Mayfield (16.3 ppg). He also leads the team in rebounding (8.0 rpg). … The earlier win over ENMU was one of five 100-point outings this season for ASU, and one short of a season high set in a 113-74 win over Arkansas-Monticello on Dec. 20. … Junior G John Gilliam was about the only bright spot for ENMU on Wednesday with 25 points, raising his season’s average to 16.6 ppg. He currently stands second in the LSC in scoring, behind Darrell Williams of Texas A&M-Commerce (16.9 ppg).

• Last meeting: The Zias overcame a 22-point deficit early in the second half to beat the Rambelles 65-56 on Jan. 17 at San Angelo.
• Last time out: The Rambelles lost at home to No. 7 West Texas A&M 67-50 while the Zias snapped a four-game losing streak with a 57-53 win at Texas A&M-Kingsville in games on Wednesday.
• Of note: Angelo snapped an eight-game losing streak with a 58-45 win at Kingsville last Saturday. … ASU stats show two players averaging in double figures, but neither appears on the Rambelles’ current roster. The next-leading scorer is 5-foor-8 junior G Amanda Weaver (9.9 ppg). … Leading scores for the Rambelles against WT were 5-7 freshman G KeAnna Kelley (24) and 6-0 junior C Diamalises Rivera (14). … ENMU and ASU have split their last six meetings, with the Zias winning two of the last three. … ENMU senior F Tori Tucker (12.4 ppg) and junior G Sarah Stinnett (11.8) rank ninth and 10th in the LSC in scoring.
