Dora school news — Nov. 4

Elementary events

• Wednesday: Second, third and fourth grades will enjoy an electrical safety demonstration at 10:40 a.m.

• Thursday: All elementary students will get to visit the Dora fire station for “Fire Safety Day.”

Progress reports

• Students will receive progress reports today to take home to parents. The reports show academic progress for the first three weeks of the second nine-week grading period. Progress reports will be sent out again after the sixth week of the grading period.

Fundraisers

• Dora Future Farmers of America students are taking orders on FFA meat, fruit, and cookie dough items through Nov. 12, for delivery the second week of December. The Dora Class of 2018 is selling various cutlery items now through Dec. 1.
