Work performed by two orchestras

Mark Dal Porto's orchestral work "Song of Eternity" was performed by two collegiate orchestras during the first week of October. On Oct. 3, David Bebe conducted the College of St. Rose Symphony Orchestra of Albany, N.Y., in a performance of "Song of Eternity."

On Oct. 5, Andrés Tolcachir conducted the Cornell University Symphony Orchestra of Ithaca, N.Y., in another performance of this same work.

These performances were made possible as a result of Dal Porto winning first prize for the 2013 College Orchestra Directors Association International composition contest.
