Frye named to all-tournament team

Eastern New Mexico University sophomore Lauren Frye was named to the all-tournament team last weekend at the Emerald Beach Hotel Javelina Volleyball Invitational in Kingsville, Texas.

Frye finished the tournament with 66 kills and 12 block. She set career marks for attack percentage (.545, 15 kills on 22 attempts) against host Texas A&M-Kingsville and for total kills (22) versus Fort Lewis.

She was joined on the team by Lauren Bevan and Kameryn Hayes of West Texas A&M, Ashley Bukowski of TAMU-K, Kaitlyn DeStafano of Adelphi, Stephani Sonka of Fort Lewis and Bailey Swan of American International. Bevan was named MVP.

The Zias (4-4) open LSC play tonight in a 7 p.m. (CDT) match at West Texas A&M.
