This is the last of a five-part series on Eastern New Mexico University’s College National Finals Rodeo qualifiers. The CNFR begins today and runs through Saturday at Casper, Wyo.

How did you get started in rodeo?

Rodeo is something that I have been around my whole life. My dad rodeod professionally when I was young so it was something I have been around and wanted to do myself.

What most appeals to you about the sport?

It allows me to live the lifestyle and chase my dreams that I have had since I was little.

What types of things to you enjoy doing away from rodeo?

I really enjoy any kind of sports. I play a little golf while I'm rodeoing to pass some of the time away. Anything that I can make competitive, then I'm in.

What is your most memorable rodeo experience?

Probably winning the CNFR last year. It was a cool experience and my family was there with me which made it more special.

What are your plans after graduation from college?

My plan is to rodeo professionally and try to make the NFR. It's been my dream since I was little and I'm going to do my best to try and reach my goals I have set for myself.
