Three Portales Rams were named to the Class 3A all-state softball first team.

Senior catcher Simone Laurenz, senior second baseman Francis Armijo and junior pitcher Kiersten Ramirez were among those selected by the state’s high school softball coaches.

Senior outfielder Mariah Lovato earned second-team honors for Portales, which finished the season 21-10.
