ELIDA — The Elida Lady Tigers turned back Clovis Christian 25-20, 25-15, 25-16 on Saturday night at Elida to capture the District 2-B volleyball tournament championship.

Elida (18-2) is the two-time defending Class B state champion and should get a No. 1 seed in next week's state tournament, scheduled for Rio Rancho. The Lady Eagles fell to 17-5 with the loss.PREP SUMMARIES
