Craig and Christine Noorlander of Edgewood announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Rae Noorlander of Portales, to Josh McCarty of Portales, son of Jeff and Pat McCarty of Portales.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. in Albuquerque. The reception will be 6:30 p.m. at the Marriott Hotel in Albuquerque.
The bride-elect is a 2011 graduate of Eastern New Mexico University with a master's degree in biology. She is an instructor of biology at ENMU.
The prospective groom is a 2008 graduate of Eastern New Mexico University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and computer networking. He is employed at McCarty's Cafe.
