Thursday

  • Midnight: Caller reported a friend hit a child with her vehicle while texting, 700 block of East 13th Street.
  • 12:09 a.m.: Caller advised parts of the highway were flooded and were concerned for the cows standing in deep water, US 60/70/84 near Texico.
  • 12:17 a.m.: Caller reported two armed females robbed a business, 2600 block of West Seventh Street.
  • 6:36 a.m.: Caller advised her dog was stuck in the lake and she could not get it out, 2000 block of Mitchell Street.
  • 9:29 a.m.: Caller advised two stray dogs keep coming back to their property after having tried to run them off several times, 3600 block of Sumac Trail.
  • 10:24 a.m.: Caller reported an antique tractor stolen from the yard, 2400 block of Cobblestone Circle.
  • 10:54 a.m.: Caller advised he came up on a female breaking into his vehicle, who then drove off, 300 block of Gayland Drive.
  • 1:39 p.m.: Caller reported they lost a load of roofing materials from their vehicle into the roadway, 500 block of Mitchell Street.
  • 2:35 p.m.: Caller reported a family was held hostage at knife point for two weeks, 300 block of Wallace Street.
  • 5:47 p.m.: Caller reported three pitbulls running loose in the area, 4600 block of Sandstone Drive.
  • 8:06 p.m.: Caller advised someone was spray painting a building nearby, 500 block of John Doe Street.
  • 8:33 p.m.: Caller advised finding a puppy tied to a pole with a wire wrapped around its' neck, 500 block of West 17th Street.
  • 9:38 p.m.: Caller advised a stray Siberian Husky jumped into the bed of his truck and would not get out, 2000 block of North Mitchell Street.
  • 10:44 p.m.: Caller advised there were people in the cemetery taking pictures and hiding when people drive past, 3300 block of West Seventh Street.
  • 11:33 p.m.: Caller reported a male poured gasoline on her vehicle, 600 block of Sandia Drive.
