No injuries in attempted shooting

No injuries were reported in an attempted shooting Saturday on Prince Street, according to a Clovis Police Department incident report.

According to the report, officers responded to a call of shots fired around 2:43 a.m. on Saturday at Seventh and Prince streets.

A security guard reported that a fight had broken out at the old Prince Street Lounge and an individual pulled a gun and began firing at a vehicle.

The officer on the scene was unable to locate the intended target or property that was struck by bullets.

Police collected 10 .40 caliber casings in the parking lot, which were logged into evidence.

The case is inactive because no victims or suspects have been identified.
