Welch

Johnny and Fran Welch of Portales will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 5 at Creighton’s Town and Country meeting and conference room, 1704 S. Ave D, Portales.

The celebration will be hosted by Angie and Brant Moore, Jeff and Doris Welch, Kevin Welch, Patsy Ward and Michelle Ward.

The couple was married on Feb. 9, 1962, in Clovis.

They have three children, Jeff Welch of Portales, Angie Moore of Canyon, Texas, and Kevin Welch of Ruidoso.

Johnny and Fran were introduced by her brother Buddy Vaughan. He and his wife, Janice, married Feb. 7 1962. The celebration will be shared by the two couples and is open to friends and relatives.
