Clovis grad ties for 38th at Nevada Open

Clovis High graduate Travis Reid shot a 4-over-par 76 in the third and final round Friday and finished tied for 38th at the Nevada Open in Mesquite, Nev.

Reid finished at 3-under 213 and earned $537.

He was tied for 17th at 7-under entering the final round.

Brady Schnell beat former La Cueva standout Steve Saunders in a playoff after the pair finished 54 holes tied at 16-under.

Schnell earned $10,000 for the win.
