• What activities can you enjoy at this location: The museum offers exhibits featuring the historic and cultural heritage of the panhandle. Exhibits include displays featuring the petroleum industry that flourished in the 1920s, the pioneer town with a collection of everyday items from the late 1800s through the 20th century, and the firearms which were integral to the history and settlement of the Texas Panhandle frontier.

• Admission prices?: $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, $5 children (4-12 years old), $9 for groups over 20 and $3 for children’s groups.

• Hours of operation: Winter months (September to May) 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Summer months (June to August) 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
