Carey

Bill and Susan Carey of Clovis celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary Oct. 6, 2010, in Branson, Mo.

The couple was married Oct. 6, 1965, in Mesquite, Texas.

They have six children, Scott Carey, Robin Bateman, Tim Carey, Jennifer Fields, Mark Carey and Holly Breeden; and 14 grandchildren.

He is a retired Clovis police chief and spent three years as a coordinator for the Region V Drug Task Force.

She is retired as a reference librarian for Clovis-Carver Public Library.
