No injuries in Sunday fire

Farwell firefighters extinguished a residential fire around 8 p.m. Sunday night.

Parmer County Sheriff Randy Geries said the fire was reported as a kitchen fire with flames showing at 701 Third St. There was no one in the house at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.

Geries said he was not aware of the extent of damages to the home.
