Monday morning briefing: Chiefs alone, Commander's Call and rich pitches

Commander's Call: The Air Force Junior ROTC of Clovis High School will conduct its October Commander's Call Wednesday at the JROTC drill pad. Cadets will arrive at 7 a.m., with the event starting at 7:15 a.m. Col. Phillip Frazee said there will be a large number of promotions, particularly for the newer cadets. Upcoming commander's calls will be the first Wednesday of the month (Nov. 3 and Dec. 1).
