Good morning and welcome to the Freedom New Mexico Thursday briefing.

Kitchen tip of the week

Be sure to place the item you're baking in the center of the oven — not too close to the front or too close to the back.

Also, make certain to place the item vertically in the center of the oven so that it will cook evenly and the bottom will not be too brown (or burned).
