Day trip: Roswell theatre offers variety of performances

Place: Roswell Community Little Theatre

Location: 1101 N. Virginia St. Roswell, is about an hour-and-a-half from base. Drive on U.S. 70 from Clovis, go through Portales, Elida, and Kenna. Take exit 1A to U.S. 285 and go south. Stay on U.S. 285 South and turn left at the Wendy’s restaurant.

What is it? The Roswell Community Little Theatre is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to the production and presentation of live theater performances for the entertainment of the general public in Roswell as well as the surrounding towns and counties. It’s also a place where interested people may be involved in theater as a hobby.

What can people see here? A variety of live theatrical performances.

• General admission: $10

• Full-time student: $7

• Adult season ticket: $45

• Full-time student season ticket: $30

• Reservations are highly recommended on Friday and Saturday nights.

• Jul. 29-31 Youth Production and workshop “Charlotte’s Web”

• Evening performances start at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.
