School board holding special meeting

The Clovis Schools board of education is holding a special meeting July 20 to talk about the new middle school site selection.

Meanwhile, the High Plains Patriots group is circulating a petition asking the board to reconsider its decision.

Will it come up at the meeting?

Board President Mark Lansford said he and Interim Superintendent G.C. Ross won't know specifically what's to be discussed until the agenda is finalized the week of the meeting.
