The event, sponsored by the Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce, will include a 21-minute choreographed fireworks display that will also be broadcast live on 105.9 KSEL.
The display will include 1,800 fireworks shells, with this being the first year larger, six-inch shells will be added.
Clovis’ annual Smoke on the Water festivities will take place throughout the day at Greene Acres Lake.
Starting at 8 a.m. with a 5K fun Run and Walk, there will be boat races at 2 p.m., live music beginning at 7 p.m., featuring Will Banister & The Mulberry Band, and choreographed fireworks at 8:45 p.m. broadcast live on Q101.5.
