School board meets Tuesday

The Clovis Municipal Schools Board of Education will consider candidates for its next superintendent at Tuesday’s meeting.

The first agenda item 5:30 p.m. meeting at the CMS administration building, 1009 Main, includes an executive session to discuss personnel matters relating to the superintendent’s position.

The candidates are Dalhart Independent School District Superintendent David Foote, Pampa Independent School District Superintendent Barry Haenisch, Mount Pleasant Independent School District Superintendent Terry Myers and Wichita Falls Independent School District Assistant Superintendent Tim Powers.

Other agenda items include:

• Consideration of curriculum for eighth-grade honors English and middle school digital storytelling.

• Consideration of proposals for cafeteria food and musical instruments.

• Discuss the possibility of paperless board meetings.
