Former DA target of domestic violence case
Former District Attorney Randall Harris will soon find himself the target of a prosecution.
A domestic violence case against Harris is scheduled for trial Aug. 16.
Harris, 49, is charged with assault against a family member, a petty misdemeanor and battery against a household member, a misdemeanor.
He’s accused of threatening his wife, Traci, and pushing here into a door during a dispute at their home last October.
Judge Albert J. Mitchell Jr. of Tucumcari will preside over the case, which is being prosecuted by the Second Judicial District’s District Attorney’s Office.
