Wesley Grau of Grady was named the 2009 Cattleman of the Year by the New Mexico Cattle Growers Association. Grau said the members of NMCGA vote on the recipient. He said he was humbled by the award. Grau has been ranching his entire life, except for the years he spent studying agriculture business at New Mexico State University.
What’s your idea of a perfect day? Light winds, sunshine, grass is green and an evening shower comes up around sundown and it rains an inch or half an inch.
