Three Eastern New Mexico University athletes were named to the Lone Star Conference All-Conference team Wednesday.
Senior thrower Steven Aragon and sophomores Bill Squire and Nicole Reid marked the first time in seven years the squad had multiple athletes named all-conference. To qualify, an athlete must score at least 14 points at the LSC Championships or win an event at the meet.
Reid finished with 19 points at the meet, with a second-place in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and 5,000-meter run and sixth in the 1,500-meter run.
Aragon won the 1,500-meter run as part of the decathlon and placed second in the overall decathlon standings with 6,078 points.
Squire won the shot put with a throw of 53-1.75 and was runnerup in the hammer throw.
