SAN ANTONIO — Eastern New Mexico University freshman Pedro Martinez took first place in th men’s 3,000 steeplechase, while soplhomore Nicole Reed was second in the same event for the women on Thursday in University of the Incarnate Word’s Last Chance Open track meet.
Martinez finished with a time of nine minutes, 51 seconds, while Reid was clocked in 11:31. ENMU junior Daniel Draper also competed in men’s javelin in the meet.
