School board meets about superintendent position

The Clovis Municipal Schools board of education met in executive session for about an hour and a half Tuesday.

The meeting was called to discuss personnel matters related to the position of superintendent, according to the legal notice.

The board’s attorney Dave Richards and longtime Clovis educator G.C. Ross attended the closed meeting with President Mark Lansford, Vice President Terry Martin, Secretary Max Best, and members Lora Harland and Lola Bryant.

Lansford said the board had no comment.
