The 27th SOW’s primary mission is unconventional warfare, including counter-terrorism, combat search and rescue, personnel recovery, psychological operations, deep battlefield resupply, interdiction and close air support.

Informational booths from AFSOC squadrons, organizations, Navy SEALs and recruiters from all branches of the services will be on the flightline.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Event parking will be at Doc Stewart Park in Chavez West base housing. All visitors must pass through security and will be transported on buses to the flightline.

Alcohol, glass containers, bicycles, skateboards, coolers, backpacks, large bags, camera bags and chairs, excluding baby items, will not be allowed on base during the open house.

It is recommended that base housing residents use the Portales Gate when arriving or leaving base during the event.
