Extension secretary provided wealth of information, experience

Jackie Clark began her career as administrative secretary for the Roosevelt County Cooperative Extension Office in 1985. She took the job with the intention of just staying a little while, and 25 years later, she has decided it was long enough.

Since that time she has been the go-to source for many people in the community, including county agents; 4-H members, leaders and parents; extension clubs; and local producers.

Jackie feels that she has raised several agents in her career, and most of them would agree with that.

Jackie always has a welcoming smile for those who come into the Extension Office and answers questions or directs them to the correct source of information.

When fair time rolls around, Jackie has already been hard at it putting the unseen pieces together to make sure the fair goes off without a hitch. She knows and understands what needs to happen to get it done and about all the details that make the Roosevelt County Fair a great community event for participants and fair attendees.

Ag Agent Patrick Kircher describes Jackie as a walking encyclopedia of Roosevelt County. She can tell you where people live, who they are related to, where they work and about when their kids were in 4-H.

All of which provides valuable information in the pursuit of assisting Extension clientele.

Home Economist Connie Moyers appreciates Jackie’s love for Extension work in our county. She is very dedicated to her job and cares deeply for the programs conducted from the Extension office. Jackie spends many hours outside of 8 to 5 making sure things get done properly and that every program is treated with the utmost respect and dedication.

Jackie Clark’s efforts and dedication read deeply into the character and integrity of this wonderful lady.
