High winds caused another power outage Friday afternoon in Clovis, according to Xcel spokesman Wes Reeves.
The outage lasted for about two hours and affected 1,141 customers, Reeves said. He said power was restored around 1:30 p.m.
Reeves said a cross arm on a power pole had to be repaired on Norris Street between 14th and Seventh streets.
Reeves said power can usually be routed around a broken cross arm, but that was not the case Friday.
Last Friday, high winds blew roofing material into power lines, knocking out power to about 376 Clovis customers. That outage was resolved within an hour.
