Also, the Barry Elementary School third and fourth graders program is at 5:30 p.m. at the school.

Former Wildcat helping Texas State

Aimee Hilburn of Clovis is averaging 7.8 points and a team-best 5.5 rebounds in her senior season at Texas State.

A 6-foot-1 forward, Hilburn is second on team with 50 assists.

The Division I Bobcats are 5-17 this season.

Hilburn helped Clovis finish a perfect 30-0 in 2005 en route to a Class 5A state title.

During the bloody Battle for Iwo Jima, U.S. Marines take the crest of the island's highest peak and raise the U.S. flag.

The first of three shots taken by Associated Press photographer Joe Rosenthal showing five Marines and a Navy corpsman struggling to hoist the heavy flag pole became the most reproduced photograph in history and won him a Pulitzer Prize.
