Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
Steinbeck Chautauqua performance set
A Chautauqua performance of John Steinbeck is scheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 4 in the ENMU University Theatre Center.
The Nobel-Prize winning author of such novels as “The Grapes of Wrath” and “Of Mice and Men” will be portrayed by professor Noel H. Pugach of the University of New Mexico. The performance will be followed by an opportunity for members of the audience to ask questions of “Mr. Steinbeck.”
The program is open to the public and presented free of charge by the New Mexico International Reading Association and the New Mexico Humanities Council.
