Information on remodeling, decorating for indoors or outdoors and “up-cycling” will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and noon Thursday.

According to Paul Zuck, choosing your remodeler is the most important decision you’ll make when starting a project. Zuck will share some tips on how to find a professional remodeler. He represents the National Association of Remodeling Industry International, and he lives in Allen, Texas.

Rita Fuentes will show how to create a casual picnic setting that can be used indoors or out. She is an independent consultant with PartyLite in Plymouth, Mass.

Barbara Crawford is going to show how to use pant legs for other parts of a garment when you’re doing what she calls “up-cycling.” Her company is Crawford Designs, and she’s from Gladstone, Mo.

Information on furniture refinishing, booking vacations online and sewing a travel wardrobe will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” at noon Tuesday and 2 p.m. Saturday.

With just a few simple steps, old wooden furniture can be transformed into valuable antiques, and Bruce Johnson will show how. Johnson is a furniture refinishing expert, syndicated columnist and spokesperson for Minwax, which is located in Upper Saddle River, N.J.

Valarie D’Elia, spokesperson for orbitz.com, will tell how to find last-minute vacation destinations online. She’s from Chicago, Ill.

Kate Mathews of Lark Books will show how to sew a travel wardrobe that is appropriate for any destination. She’s from Asheville, N.C.
