Schools to host flu season meeting

Clovis Municipal Schools will be hosting a meeting to discuss plans for meeting the challenge of flu season and the H1N1 virus.

The public meeting is 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Zia Elementary cafeteria, according to a news release.

Schools will be conducting vaccination clinics for the seasonal flu at school sites between Oct. 19-23.

Flu shots for Clovis students are free.

Flu information and consent forms were sent home and should be returned to the school by today.

The district will keep parents up-to-date about the flu through updates on the district’s Web site at http://www.clovis-schools.org.
