Children's home deserve thanks

I would like to thank the Christian Children’s Home for allowing the Portales junior league teams to practice on their baseball field.

This has always been a challenging league due to our city’slack of facilities to accommodate these young men, but thankfully the Children’s Home has come to our rescue.

I would also like to thank area coaches for taking time out of their busy schedules to discuss possible further assistance to our program.
