SANTA FE -- Governor Bill Richardson will visit 14 communities this week as he continues his statewide listening tour. The Governor will travel to Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Ft. Sumner, Clovis, Portales, Hobbs, Carlsbad, Roswell, Alamogordo, Las Cruces, Moriarty, Mora and Mosquero.
The Governor will meet with invited local leaders, county officials, community leaders and lawmakers to discuss issues facing their communities as well as their stimulus needs.
In addition, the Governor will be taking part in the Inauguration of SCHOTT Solar's flagship U.S. manufacturing facility at Mesa Del Sol on Monday. On Tuesday, he'll help break ground on New Mexico's first stimulus fund road project. He will also speak at the Governor's Awards for Outstanding New Mexico Women banquet on Friday night.
