Muleshoe tax, alcohol proposals fail

Muleshoe voted against selling alcohol within city limits on Saturday.

Voters defeated the citywide proposal 543 to 414 for in an election that generated a high number of voters.

A tax increase proposal for hospitals also failed, 545 to 383.
