Mrs. Kathryn Mays of Coppell, Texas, and state Sen. Stuart Ingle of Portales announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Ann Ingle, to Howard David Pettigrew, son of Mrs. Lana Jean Pettigrew and the late Dr. Howard Pettigrew of Lincoln, Calif.
The couple will exchange vows June 20, 2009, at Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Coppell High School and Texas A&M. She also attended Texas Tech Medical School and completed her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in nephrology at the University of Texas in the San Antonio Health Sciences Center.
She is employed as a faculty physician in nephrology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center.
The prospective groom is a graduate of El Camino Fundamental High School in Sacramento, Calif. He later earned a PhD in immunology and genetics from the University of California. He also attended Vermont Medical School and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas in the San Antonio Health Sciences Center.
He is currently completing his fellowship in allergy and immunology at the University of California at Davis.
