Joy Widener of Portales and Michael Thompson of Clovis were joined in marriage at 2 p.m. April, 11, 2009.
The Rev. Kelly Fulfer performed the wedding ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ed and Carol Widener of Alamogordo. She is the granddaughter of Ila Fay and the late Glenn Widener of Portales; B-Etta Campbell of Alamogordo and J.D. Ray of Hereford, Texas.
The bridegroom is the son of Tami and Ken Thompson of Clovis. He is the grandson of Al and Kathy Kissel and the late Gwendolyn Kissel of Carmichael, Calif.
Maid of honor was Valerie O’Neal. Bridesmaids were Sarah Johnson and Krystal Crouch.
Best man was James Hickman and Andres Thompson. Groomsmen were Chops Thanimith and Sean Shepherd.
Flower girl was Myrima Thompson. Ring bearer was Kallen O’Neal.
The couple will reside in Portales.
