ENMU coach meeting open to public

Andrew Helton, a finalist for the men’s basketball coaching position at Eastern New Mexico University, will be at the Aztec Room in the Campus Union Building from 5-7 p.m. Monday for an open meeting.

Helton has been an

assistant at the University of Southern Alabama for two seasons and previously spent six years as an

assistant at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

The other finalists are Greg Young of Jacksonville College (Texas) and Richard Davis of St. Joseph’s College (Ind.).

The candidate hired will replace Shawn Scanlan, who was let go after nine seasons at ENMU. The Greyhounds finished 4-23 last season.
