What does your job entail? I advise people of their legal rights, prepare legal documents and represent people in court and other tribunals throughout New Mexico, Texas and Colorado.
What is a typical day like for you? I generally see people for appointments for several hours. I also attend court hearings and prepare pleadings and other legal documents throughout the day.
Why did you choose this career field? I wanted to help people and make a difference.
What type of training do you need? One would need a four-year undergraduate degree and then a three-year law degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law school.
