There will be a youth basketball coaches meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Rec Center.
Youth basketball tryouts are set for Saturday at the Portales Junior High School gym. The junior league (third- and fourth-graders) will begin at 9 a.m., and the senior league (fifth- and sixth-graders) will begin at 1 p.m.
