LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Cassie Moseley of Farwell holds the overall lead Monday after five of 10 rounds in barrel racing competition of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
Moseley won Friday’s second round, placed second in Sunday’s fourth round and fifth in Monday’s fifth round. Her overall time is 69.94 seconds, giving her a half-second lead over Jill Moody. The event wraps up on Sunday.
In tie-down roping, Portales’ Jerrad Hofstetter is seventh after five rounds with a time of 54.20 seconds. He was 10th on Monday in a time of 11.20 seconds.
