The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of Eastern New Mexico University.
He is employed by the Bovina Independent School District.

Ken and Mary Ann Cable of Clovis announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kara Cable, to Mark Copeland, both of Kerrville, Texas.
He is the son of Jim and Melissa Copeland of Fleming, Colo.
The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m., Sept.. 27, 2008, in Kerrville.
A reception will follow at 8 p.m. in Center Point, Texas.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Clovis High School.
She is employed by VistaCare Hospice.
The prospective groom is a 2001 graduate of Rotan High School.
