Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:
Around 9 a.m. June 9 an officer responded to a residence in the 700 block of Axtell for a larceny report.
A woman said she saw a man and woman take a swamp cooler from the window of the unoccupied house.
The officer contacted the property owner and let her know the unit had been stolen.

About 1:30 a.m. June 9 an officer responded to the area of Fifth and Norris streets for a suspicious banging noise.
While checking the area, officers discovered an unsecured door on a building and entered to check the premises.
Officers arrested two men with baseball bats hiding in a bathroom.
Officers also stopped a man who kept circling the area in a vehicle.
The man told officers he had agreed to go with the two while they got money from inside the building.
He said he waited in his vehicle about a block away for them to return.
Officers noted intent to seek a warrant for the third man.

Around 7:30 a.m. June 9 an officer responded to the 1400 block of Oakhurst for a vehicle theft.
A man said when he got up to go to work, a company pickup he took home was gone.
He said he left it unlocked with the keys in the ignition.
The truck was valued around $3,000.

Around 2 a.m. June 10 an officer responded to a home in the 400 block of Plaza for a breaking and entering.
A man said he was in the shower when he heard a crash.
The man said as he came out of the bathroom and saw a male standing in his apartment.
The suspect ran.
The man said it was the second time his door had been kicked in.

Around 9 a.m. June 10 an officer responded to a school in the 2000 block of Caesar Chavez Street for a criminal damage report.
An employee said he discovered two broken windows valued around $300.
He showed the officer surveillance footage of two males turning off the power to the school during the time frame the damage occurred.
