A 26-year-old female fast-food employee reported she was kidnapped and robbed at gunpoint Saturday morning while en route to the bank to make the store’s deposit, according to police.
The victim, a manager at Wendy’s restaurant on North Prince, said two Hispanic males got into her vehicle at Ashford and Parkland around 9 a.m. as she was about to enter the bank parking lot and forced her to drive into the county, the police report said.
One of the men put a gun to her side and punched her in the face, the report said.
According to the report, the men directed her to drive north to the area of Curry Roads L and 13, where there was a waiting vehicle with another male in it.
The woman told police the men had her get out of the vehicle, took the money out of the deposit bag and left. When they were gone, she drove to a house in town and called police, the report said.
More than $1,600 was taken, the report said.
She said the men told her if she didn’t cooperate they would rape her, the report said.
