Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:
About 4 p.m. Sunday an officer took a report of larceny at a home in the 300 block of Aspen Street.
A woman said she had recently bought a handgun from a pawn shop and left it in her roommate’s vehicle. She said a couple days later she discovered the gun missing.
She said there was no forced entry to the vehicle and nothing else was missing.
The gun was valued around $175.

About 10 p.m. Sunday an officer responded to a business in the 100 block of Norris Street for a report of breaking and entering.
A janitor showed the officer a broken back window on the building where a large rock had been thrown through the glass.
The owner checked the building but didn’t find anything missing.

About 11 p.m. Monday an officer responded to a home in the 700 block of Walnut Street for a subject with a weapon.
A woman said her boyfriend accused her of cheating on him and pointed a loaded handgun at her.
Officers confiscated the gun and put it into evidence.
The man was arrested for battery on a household member and negligent use of a firearm.
