Gasoline Price Rollercoaster
(Albuquerque, New Mexico – January 18, 2008) –Gasoline prices in New Mexico are down this week after rising for the last two weeks. The national gasoline price average is down this week following three weeks of incline.
The New Mexico average for regular unleaded gasoline of $2.956 is 2.3 cents less than last week and 76.9 cents more than last year. The national average of $3.033 is 6.2 cents less than last week and 82.4 cents more than last year.
New Mexico’s average moved from eighth lowest to fifteenth lowest in the nation. Missouri has the lowest statewide average of $2.822 per gallon, while Hawaii has the highest average of $3.481 per gallon followed by New York with $3.301 per gallon.
