George C. and Ruth Ann Hughes of Lubbock, Texas celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Nov. 10 at their home.
The couple was married Nov. 8, 1942 in Hobart, Okla.
He is former Assistant Superintendent of Portales Schools. She is a retired teacher.
